Sadly, I have yet to see a penguin.

Greetings from the frozen tundra of Westlake, Ohio! Yesterday afternoon and evening we got what I'd consider our first real snow, meaning that the ground is covered and the world is white. It's really beautiful. I'm not so sure the dogs like bouncing around in it, but they're getting used to it. Will is indifferent because he stayed inside all day and cried anytime somebody opened the door (and understandably so - it was in the low 20's and felt like 8-9 degrees). I don't have any pictures yet, since it's still dark outside. There are icicles hanging under all of the cars, it looks cool.

Master William (William sounds so regal, it just works, okay?) had a really good day yesterday. He ate almost what a normal baby should eat, and I say that because he's had a difficult time taking his food for quite a while. He'll eat a couple ounces here or there, but we've had to supplement his formula with other liquids to keep him hydrated when he's not willing to keep eating. It's been strange and frustrating, but we've gone by the doctor's orders to make sure everything is fine. Anyway, yesterday he ate a lot, and as a result he's sleeping pretty well right now. He slept for 2.5 hours, then another 2.5, and now he's been asleep for 45 minutes and hopefully many more. It doesn't sound like much, but let me tell you, it's a HUGE improvement. Those of you with babies sleeping 7 hours a night, you are lucky!

Oh, and how could I forget? Will laughed for the first time this week. It was unbelievable. We got him to repeat it several times that evening by making fart noises with our tongue. That's what still makes ME laugh. He is very much like his Daddy.

Very glad to hear Master William is letting you enjoy those 2.5 hours, maybe you'll be up to 3 by the end of the year - it would be a Christmas miracle!
