At the sonogram we learned that the baby is now 15 ounces...of pure manliness. It was an amazing experience as we were able to see all of his fingers and toes, many bones (radius, ulna, tibia, etc.), and even a lot of internal things. We could see all four chambers of his heart, his brain structure, and of course, his little baby businesss down there. In fact, Whitney, in her eternal bluntness (which we all love her for) made a comment to the sonographer how amazed she was that we could see "his junk". The rest of the conversation went like this:
Johnathan: Whitney, I'm not so sure that "junk" is a medical term.
Whitney: No, probably not.
Doc: Well it's not any worse than what I usually call them when I see them on the screen.
Johnathan: Oh yeah? What's that?
Doc: Weapons of mass destruction.
Johnathan and Whitney: [confused and frightened laughter]
In other news, our closing date on our house got pushed back a week, but everything still seems on track for us to sell it. We'll be in a cramped hotel room for about two months in Austin, but it'll be worth it to have the house off of our minds. Most of the packing is done, and we're ready to move forward.
Love you all -
Johnathan

Max said he could tell that Whitney and I are related because of our bluntness (oh, and he prefers the term "giggle stick" btw)
