Baby, House, Dissertation, Oh My!

I was about to write that, not to worry, I don't feel the need to come up with a punny or silly name for every post on this website. But that's not true - I do feel the need. My sincere apologies.

Well, we put our house on the market this past Friday, and the weekend was pretty lucrative. We had 6 visits through Sunday and have had three or four more since then - but the biggest news is that we got our first offer today! We don't know what the offer is yet, since we can't meet our realtor until tomorrow, but it's certainly a good sign and takes away some of the worry of having a house on the market forever. It's like hearing from the first place that granted me an interview for an internship position - it didn't need to be "the one", but it meant that things would probably work out.

Tomorrow, Whitney has another check-up, although no more sonograms until early next month, when we hope to find out the gender of the baby! Get your votes in soon, any late votes are considered cheating and will be reported to the dean of the students.

Great news about the house!! And I hope Whit's appt went okay...... (did she tell you about the recessive Roop trait where once a generation somebody's born with their back completely covered in scales? We're all used to it though, so you shouldn't be too paranoid. It could always be Meredith's kid this time round).
